5th Grade Genius Hour
All 5th Grade students will be participating in Genius Hour projects this year! Check out the information below to learn more about Genius Hour. If you are a 5th grade student learning about Genius Hour for the first time, make sure you stop and answer the questions after each video or block of information.

Kid President told us to create something that will make the world awesome, so that's what we're going to do! Your Genius Hour project must improve either yourself or the community in some way. You can develop or improve a personal skill or create something that will improve our school and/or community.

What's next?
Next class you will fill out the Project Proposal below. Think about what you might want to do and how you will answer the questions in the proposal. You can talk to your family & friends to help you get ideas but this will be an independent project that you will work on during Media and Technology classes for the rest of this school year! Make sure it is something you are really interested and really care about, because you'll be working with this topic for a while! I cannot wait to see what ideas you come up with!
